At Voices Co. we specialise in providing group development in the following areas:

Our Group Workshops are customisable, and can be tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for the full ‘Pop A Cappella’ experience, or simply looking to enhance the cohesion and vocal balance of your choir or group, we’ve got you covered!
Our tutors have extensive vocal training and professional experience as solo and ensemble performers, both nationally and internationally.
Although ‘pop music’ is the packaging, the technique and vocal applications we use are rooted in the best of both classical and contemporary ensemble singing, and can be applied to all kinds of singing.
School “Aca-Pop” Workshops
We’re on a mission to get your students excited about harmony, and enthused about group singing!
Our School Workshops are designed to support the work that teachers and choir directors are doing in schools, offering a fun ‘alternative’ take on harmony, and utilising a genre of music that young singers are already familiar with!
Aca-Pop Workshops can be held as a one-off for any mix of vocalists - whether that’s an existing choir, a music class, or just a collective of interested students who want to try something different. We can tailor these workshops to you, and are more than happy to assist with prep for competitions and performances.
Community Vocal Group Workshops
Whether you’re keen to enhance the existing sound of your ensemble, brush up on vocal technique, or up-skill in areas like microphone use or performance presentation, we can help!
Our Group Workshops are flexible and can be tailored to your needs as either a one-off session, or an ongoing course of 4-6 weeks.
Lead by Voices Co. Musical Director Julian Hay, our Aca-Pop Workshops have a strong focus on personal expression, creativity, confidence, and inclusion. We’ve worked with choirs, small groups, church vocal teams, and more, and it’s always really special to see the unique skills of each group enhanced.

PRICING
1 Hour Workshop $175 (up to 25 students)
Half Day Workshop: $375 max of 2.5hrs (up to 25 students)
Full Day Workshop: P.O.A
Please note that the prices listed above are inclusive of Christchurch city suburbs. Engagements that require travel outside this zone will have a travel cost associated per KM.
